With over 22 years of dedicated experience in education, Israel Nicanor has cultivated a diverse and impactful career focused on student success and innovative educational practices. Beginning as a math teacher, Israel Nicanor spent 7 years in the classroom, inspiring students and developing a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies.
Transitioning into leadership, Israel Nicanor has served for 12 years in administration. 1 year as principal and 11years as an assistant principal, where he honed skills in school administration, teacher support, and curriculum development. His commitment to fostering a positive school culture and promoting academic excellence was instrumental during this time.
As part of his administrative experience in an early college high school Israel Nicanor, has taken part in leading initiatives that bridge high school and college experiences, empowering students to achieve their educational goals. In addition, he is passionate about preparing students for post-secondary education and careers through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
